Obituary for Cecilia E Lynch (Dolan)

Cecilia E. Lynch (Dolan), Lindenhurst, NY. Passed peacefully at the age of 84 at 11:11 a.m. on May 11, 2017 and reunited in Heaven with her loving husband John J. Lynch. Predeceased by her sister Katherine Genovese. Survived by her loving sister Patricia Diana; her adoring children Donna Alexandre (Roger), June Plotkin (Mike); Mary Jane Budde (Donald); John J. Lynch, Jr. (Patti); Katherine N. Monte (Todd); 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 20 nieces and nephews; and many many friends. Cecilia exemplified Christianity. She was selfless, compassionate, spiritual, faithful, generous, beautiful and hysterically funny—a ROCK STAR MOM! She grew up in Woodhaven, Queens. Worked at Lakeside Hospital and Brunswick Hospital in Housekeeping. She loved her BINGO, card games, dominoes, etc. especially when there was a wager of at least a nickel involved :) She will be missed here on earth, but is now in her final resting place with the Lord and those loved ones that passed before her. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local Hospice.
