The Lady Wore Yellow

When Barry and I think of our wedding day, Margie always comes to mind because she made our special day even more special. It was a rainy summer day in 1986 and the umbrellas were colliding as we all filtered out of the church. We arrived at the afternoon reception happy to be married, out of the rain and hearing the music playing. When everyone was called to the dance floor after our first dance, there she was -- my fun-loving, ever-exuberant cousin Margie shaking it up on the dance floor! She was wearing this gorgeous bright yellow dress that matched her sunny personality. Our Little Margie brought the sunshine for everyone that day! You couldn't miss her and if you did, you probably drank too much! She even pinched a few butts on the dance floor (including the groom's) and had the 'victims' laughing trying to figure out who did it!!! Margie, we miss you already. Thank you for all the fun memories. May you rest in peace -- when you take a break from dancing with the saints in Heaven!
